Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Christmas Programme is already in full flow with events and activities that have been organized by the Council\u2019s Celebrations Department, along with many local companies.<\/p>\n

The Christmas lights dotted around the town are already shining brightly, using over 4,000 LED bulbs (renewed recently for energy efficiency), with 300 images placed on the street-lights.
\n11 roundabouts have been decorated and, there are 10 welcoming arches lit up on the approach to the Pueblo. Everyone should see the Christmas trees at the Plaza de la Fuente, as well as at the Plaza del Fronton, which is where the traditional nativity scene is on display. Along with the 8 metre fir tree at the Parque Commercial, with its decorations representing all the countries that celebrate Christmas, Santa Claus should easily find his way to Moj\u00e1car when he is ready to deliver his gifts.
\nOne of the things especially for the children will be at the Centro de Usos M\u00faltiples on Thursday, December 13th at 6 p.m. when the Royal Mailbox will be set up to collect the letters written to Their Majesties from the East, along with Christmas decoration workshops and other fun activities for the youngsters.
\n\tOn Friday the 21st, children from the Bartolom\u00e9 Flores School will take part in a carol concert at 10 a.m. at the Sports Pavilion and on Saturday 22nd, at 9 p.m. the Municipal Music Band will be performing a Christmas concert featuring famous music from the cinema at the Centro de Usos M\u00faltiples. On Wednesday 26th, a film for young ones \u201cSe arm\u00f3 el bel\u00e9n\u201d will be screened at 6 p.m. at the same venue.
\nA Christmas full of music, dance, carols and games are spread throughout the school holidays and no one has to remind the children that Their Majesties the Magi, will travel from the East to Moj\u00e1car to distribute gifts to all the children in the town.
\n\tFor the adults, the weekend begins with a carol concert led by the Anglican Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday 15th at the Parque Commercial, followed on the night by the play \u201cUn cad\u00e1ver a los postres\u201d, performed by the theatre group Aquelarre.
\n\tNo-one, whatever their age, wants to miss the eagerly anticipated sampling of Christmas cakes and sweets with hot chocolate at the Centro de Usos M\u00faltiples at 7 p.m. on the following day, with the tasting rounded off by a Christmas concert featuring Moj\u00e1car\u2019s dance schools and choirs.
\n\tThere are so many things to do and see, including theatre, concerts, movies and monologues, in addition to the traditional Midnight Mass and good luck grapes that are quickly swallowed to the sound of the midnight bells of the Santa Mar\u00eda Church. There really is a multitude of reasons why you should stay in, or come to Moj\u00e1car!<\/p>\n
