{"id":8653,"date":"2018-10-31T10:53:44","date_gmt":"2018-10-31T08:53:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/?p=8653"},"modified":"2018-10-31T11:02:31","modified_gmt":"2018-10-31T09:02:31","slug":"mojacar-solidarity-walk-aecc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devmojacar.talleragencia.com\/en\/mojacar-solidarity-walk-aecc\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Mucho por vivir&#8221; solidarity walk in Moj\u00e1car."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Around two hundred people joined the \u201cMucho por Vivir\u201d solidarity walk last weekend in Moj\u00e1car which was organized by the Spanish Cancer Association AECC), the Local Moj\u00e1car AECC Branch and, Garrucha Volunteer Service, all in collaboration with Moj\u00e1car Council.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Around two hundred people joined the \u201cMucho por Vivir\u201d solidarity walk last weekend in Moj\u00e1car which was organized by the Spanish Cancer Association AECC), the Local Moj\u00e1car AECC Branch and, Garrucha Volunteer Service, all in collaboration with Moj\u00e1car Council.<br \/>\n\tAs an event to mark World Breast Cancer Day, the Plaza Nueva in Moj\u00e1car old town was the starting point, with the walkers then forming a descending pink wave in the significantly coloured tee shirts handed out by the organizers.  The Hotel Puntazo on the beach road was the destination, where they had a chance to catch their breath and take some well deserved refreshments.<br \/>\nPeople of all ages and many whole families joined in, even bringing along their pets in the fun procession, which this year saw a marked increase of British participants as well as those of other nationalities.<br \/>\nMoj\u00e1car Councillors, Mar\u00eda Luisa P\u00e9rez, and Raquel Belmonte, took part with the townspeople, stressing the need to carry out vital advance checks to detect this terrible disease.
