{"id":7498,"date":"2018-04-11T19:21:56","date_gmt":"2018-04-11T17:21:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-abre-circuito-btt-almeria-maraton\/"},"modified":"2018-04-12T17:29:36","modified_gmt":"2018-04-12T15:29:36","slug":"mojacar-opens-cycling-circuit-btt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devmojacar.talleragencia.com\/en\/mojacar-opens-cycling-circuit-btt\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car opens the provincial cycling circuit with the 2018 BTT Marathon."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Sunday, April 15th will see the annual VII MTB La Mojaquera race fought out, bringing around 300 cyclists to Moj\u00e1car, including the best athletes from not only Almeria and Andaluc\u00eda, but from all over Spain and Europe.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Moj\u00e1car Bike CCD, joint organizer of the event with Moj\u00e1car Council, have been busy finalizing details of the race that will open the official Federaci\u00f3n Almeriense de Ciclismo circuit.  Ana Garc\u00eda, Moj\u00e1car Sports Councillor and Gerardo Mart\u00ednez Cabello, Director of the Moj\u00e1car Bike CCD Club, have met with the Local Police, Civil Protection and the Red Cross to ensure volunteers along with all aspects of health and safety and, traffic control are in place so that the La Mojaquera Sierra Cabrera Xtreme will be another complete success.                          \t<\/p>\n<p>Enhanced by the unique landscape of the area, this sporting challenge, under the hallmark of C.D. Moj\u00e1car Bike CCD, has already started the countdown that forms the first test for the Provincial Circuit in Almeria and the 2018 Andaluz MTB Marathon Ranking.<\/p>\n<p>At 8 a.m. the 75 km test will start at Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Campo de F\u00fatbol, which includes a total climb of 2,300 metres above sea level through Moj\u00e1car, Turre and Carboneras, following mainly tracks and dirt roads, riverbeds and trails.<\/p>\n<p>The route includes; Manac\u00e1, Sombrerico Beach, &#8216;La Cola del Drag\u00f3n&#8217;, Bajada del Moro, Puerto Marina, La Puerta de la Ciudad and Puerta Azul.
