This route has made it possible to look around Moj\u00e1car from a new perspective, moving away from the more usual spots to invite the discovery of peaceful and unique landscapes through art.<\/p>\n<p>The locations of the benches and their creators are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The aerials &#8211; Puerto Marina by Nikki Freespirit Movement and Pamen Merchante<\/li>\n<li>Piedra Villazar by \u00c1ngel Rodr\u00edguez Ria\u00f1o<\/li>\n<li>Raspejos by \u00c1ngeles Gait\u00e1n Orden<\/li>\n<li>Lighthouse by Mar\u00eda del Mar Gilar Mart\u00ednez<\/li>\n<li>Trancos by Catalina San Rom\u00e1n Mu\u00f1oz<\/li>\n<li>Observatory by Jorge Fraser, Matt Asaro, and \u00c1lvaro Concepci\u00f3n \u00c1lvarez<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each of these benches makes up part of an artistic route where art invites you to pause, contemplate and reconnect with the environment.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;SentArte is an invitation to experience Moj\u00e1car in a different way. We want residents and visitors to rediscover our landscapes through pause, art and sensitivity. We believe in culture as a tool for social transformation and in creativity as a driver of local development&#8221;, <\/em>commented Moj\u00e1car Mayor Francisco Garc\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Tourism Councillor, Mar\u00eda Gracia Alarc\u00f3n, added: <em>\u201cThis project allows us to highlight unique corners of Moj\u00e1car that often go unnoticed. We want art to serve as a guide for discovering these small scenic treasures that we have and, at the same time, support and showcase the talent of our local artists.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The project was promoted by the Culture and Tourism departments as a competition open to artists from different disciplines. Participants had to create benches with original and long-lasting designs, adapted to their surroundings, in this way turning street furniture into artistic and contemplative elements.<\/p>\n<p>With SentArte, Moj\u00e1car reaffirms its commitment to a more creative, sensitive, and sustainable form of tourism.
