Moj\u00e1car Council supports the creation of the Moj\u00e1car Hotel Association, an initiative that reinforces the municipality’s commitment to a quality, sustainable tourism model and ready to face future challenges.<\/em><\/p>\n Moj\u00e1car, 15th of May 2025<\/p>\n Moj\u00e1car’s hoteliers<\/strong> have taken a decisive step towards the organisation and strengthening of the sector with the constitution of the Moj\u00e1car Hotel Association<\/strong>, an entity that was created with the aim of working together for the development of competitive, sustainable and quality tourism. This initiative has the institutional backing of Moj\u00e1car Council, which will actively collaborate with the association in achieving its goals.<\/p>\n The creation of this association responds to the need to respond to the challenges posed by the growth of tourism in the municipality. Moj\u00e1car is at a key moment, with important public and private investments already underway and planned for the coming years, which will significantly boost the local tourist capacity and offer.<\/p>\n In the words of Francisco Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, Mayor of Moj\u00e1car: “The creation of this association is great news for Moj\u00e1car. Our tourism development model needs unity, strategy and commitment. The Local Council supports this initiative with total conviction, because we believe in the administration and the private sector working together to build a strong, sustainable tourist destination that meets the demands of the 21st century visitor.”<\/em><\/p>\n The association will be headed by Alberto Simone Chiusano, with Michela Felici as secretary. Its main aims include:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tourism Councillor, Mar\u00eda Gracia Alarc\u00f3n<\/strong>, underlined the importance of this union: “We are undergoing an important transformation in Moj\u00e1car. We are committed to being a quality tourist destination, and that is only possible if all the actors are pulling together. The association has come into being at the best time, when it is most necessary to organise, modernise and adapt our tourism to the new realities. The Tourism Department is going to be closely involved, collaborating and supporting all those actions that favour the intelligent growth of our sector.”<\/em><\/p>\n The establishment of the Moj\u00e1car Hotels Association seeks not only the internal improvement of the hotel sector, but also to be an engine of economic and social development for the entire municipality.
