{"id":21466,"date":"2023-10-23T18:55:53","date_gmt":"2023-10-23T16:55:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/mojacar-halloween-jaliween\/"},"modified":"2023-10-24T19:01:59","modified_gmt":"2023-10-24T17:01:59","slug":"mojacar-halloween-jaliween","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devmojacar.talleragencia.com\/en\/mojacar-halloween-jaliween\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car celebrates Halloween this weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>This Friday, 27th October, Moj\u00e1car will hold its Halloween party, one of the most looked forward to celebrations for all children and young people in the municipality and neighbouring towns.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Jaliween Moj\u00e1car&#8221; is organized by the AMPA, &#8220;El Jali&#8221;, of Bartolom\u00e9 Flores School, in collaboration with the Moj\u00e1car Town Council.<br \/>\nMoj\u00e1car was one of the pioneering towns in celebrating this festival, and this year celebrates its 25th anniversary which coincides with the founding of AMPA, &#8220;El Jali&#8221;, by Mrs. Reding. She created this association in Bartolom\u00e9 Flores School, which, at that time, already had many students from other countries, especially from the United Kingdom.<br \/>\nEvery year, Moj\u00e1car&#8217;s Multipurpose Centre becomes a terrifying stage where children, young people, parents and entire families gather in costume to enjoy a very special evening.<br \/>\nHere you will find the Tunnel of Terror and the Panic Room, both of which cause quite a sensation amongst the visitors and are the most requested games; but there will be many more games too, games that vary from year to year. There will also be tables with sweets, refreshments and drinks for parents to regain strength between frights!<br \/>\nWithout doubt the event most looked forward to is the costume contest, which is divided into three categories: individual, groups and families.<br \/>\nThe contestants will parade around the stage which will be decorated for the occasion with tombs, mummies, giant spiders and their many webs plus mysterious presences.
