\tThe Junta de Andaluc\u00eda Tourism Delegate in Almer\u00eda, Vicente Garc\u00eda Egea, travelled to Moj\u00e1car to officially present the locality with the Blue Flags awarded in 2021 by the European Foundation for Environmental Education.
\n\tHe was received by Moj\u00e1car Mayor, Rosa Mar\u00eda Cano, Tourism Councillor, Emmanuel Ag\u00fcero, and Finance Councillor, Francisco Garc\u00eda Cerd\u00e1.
\n\tThe Tourism Delegate wanted to emphasize that Moj\u00e1car is one of the province\u2019s most important brands as a tourist and beach destination: \u201cit is a reference point in our province, all the more so taking into account the excellent work being carried out by Moj\u00e1car Council, as the six awards gained demonstrate.\u201d
\n\tWhile handing over so many Blue Flags, Vicente Garc\u00eda Egea underlined his congratulations to the governing team and the Mayor, \u201ctaking your work as another reference point in the importance which the Tourism Regional Ministry, headed by Juan Mar\u00edn, attaches to the quality of Almer\u00eda and Andaluc\u00eda destinations.\u201d
\n\tMoj\u00e1car Mayor, Rosa Mar\u00eda Cano, thanked the delegate for his words and expressed her satisfaction at gaining these distinctions, \u201cwhich correspond to the effort to have clean and well looked after beaches, waiting to receive everyone who comes to visit with the guarantee of finding the best services.\u201d
\n\tTourism Councillor, Emmanuel Ag\u00fcero Leclerc, confirmed to the Junta de Andalucia Tourism Delegate his commitment to the quality of the municipality: \u201cwe have the maximum of awards for beach quality. Six Blue Flags obtained thanks to the tenacity of the whole governing team to maintain maximum quality in all aspects of the municipality, as well as the improvement, year after year, to our services.\u201d
\n\tMoj\u00e1car retained the six Blue Flags obtained last year, making it one of the Almer\u00eda municipalities with the most beaches which have achieved this distinction.
\n\tThe Moj\u00e1car beaches of El Cantal, El Descargador, Lance Nuevo, Marina de la Torre, Piedra Villazar and Venta del Bancal have been awarded the Blue Flags, which are given out annually to the beaches and ports which meet the strictest criteria in terms of water quality, environmental management, safety and services, as well as information and environmental education.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
