{"id":10941,"date":"2020-03-02T20:01:56","date_gmt":"2020-03-02T18:01:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/celebracion-dia-andalucia-mojacar\/"},"modified":"2020-03-03T11:52:37","modified_gmt":"2020-03-03T09:52:37","slug":"celebration-dia-andalucia-mojacar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devmojacar.talleragencia.com\/en\/celebration-dia-andalucia-mojacar\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car marks D\u00eda de Andaluc\u00eda with a weekend of celebrations"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>There was a full weekend of celebrations in Moj\u00e1car to celebrate D\u00eda de Andalucia, with the traditional raising of the Andaluc\u00edan flag at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento by the town\u2019s Mayor, Rosmari Cano, accompanied by her fellow Councillors and members of the public.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The Town Band gave a rendition of the Andaluc\u00edan anthem as the flag rose, followed by a medley of Spanish music that soon had locals and visitors on their feet, for a dance to celebrate the day.<br \/>\nThe Council\u2019s programme of events continued with the release of green and white biodegradable balloons in the Plaza Nueva, followed later by the much anticipated giant paella, offered free to everyone coming along to the Plaza de Parterre.<br \/>\nAs always, there was a concert later at the Centro de Usos M\u00faltiples showcasing the skills of the local guitar students, directed by Pedro Clemente, along with the talents of the dancers from Gustavo Criado\u2019s Dance School and Nicky Mainstone\u2019s Prodanza School.<br \/>\nEarlier in the week, the Bartolom\u00e9 Flores schoolchildren held their own little celebration by gathering for a typical Andaluc\u00edan breakfast at break time.  The very characteristic and nutritious snack, including bread with oil and tomato, was organised by Moj\u00e1car Council\u2019s Education Department with several the parents on hand to help.
